What is the Role?
Due to our exponential growth, we are looking for a dynamic Inventory Coordinator to join our Warehouse team at Kinrise Snackfoods.
This role is a key part of our warehouse & logistics team and responsible for the coordination and management of inventory across our 3 warehouse sites/locations (Dandenong South, Keysborough, Braeside) to ensure seamless and efficient movement of products into and out of the warehouse.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the Inventory Coordinator role encompasses overseeing the management of inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure we meet stock levels for both production requirements and customer demand , including receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatching of our products, organizing cycle counts, stock takes, customer service responsibilities and supporting the production/manufacturing teams.
A key aspect of the role is being able to work across our 3 key warehouse sites/locations and therefore you must be an exceptional communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders, multiple priorities and deadlines and be resilient and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely supply of raw materials and ingredients required to support relevant production and manufacturing operations across sites
- Escalate any potential supply risks in a timely manner and coordinate in devising contingency plans to mitigate risk
- Liaise with suppliers to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of supplying materials (eg: time slotting) and work with planning and quality to review and address supplier performance issues
- Lead and coordinate regular cycle counts and stock takes of both raw materials and finished goods across 3 warehouse sites/locations
- Work closely with receiving team to ensure delivered materials are receipted and put away in a timely manner
- Coordinate stock transfers and inwards goods transport, follow up late deliveries and closing off completed orders
- Work with relevant internal stakeholders and teams to ensure that all materials for new product launches is received in time to support on-time and within budget launch to minimize write offs
- Effectively manage the cost center budget within area of control including proactively identifying opportunities to reduce costs and implementing solutions
- Support the Operations and Supply Chain team to deliver both short and long term objectives by contributing to the execution of a continuous improvement plan across all 3 sites.

Skills, Competencies and Experience
- Atleast 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in Inventory management in FMCG
- Previous experience and working knowledge of SAP
- Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business administration is preferred but not necessary
